We offer some of the best psychiatric services in San Diego County. We provide mental health relief for virtually every issue including the following areas:

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition affecting children and adults that is characterized by problems with attention, impulsivity, and overactivity. It affects between 5-8 percent of school age children, and between 2-4 percent of adults. We can diagnosis ADD or ADHD and create a treatment plan that will work best for you or your child.

Alcohol/Substance Abuse: Alcohol and drug dependence is one of the most difficult addictions to break. We have specialized treatments using specific drugs in conjunction with therapy to help you succeed at staying sober.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD): This is a disorder that grows with age. If you feel you might have a mild case of OCD it might get worse over the coming years. Obtaining a diagnosis and treatment can help make your life more enjoyable.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services: There are many different approaches when it comes to treating children with psychiatric disorders. We start with a complete psychiatric evaluation and then design a tratment plan right for the individual child.

Anxiety:  If you have an abnormal and overwhelming sense of apprehension and/or fear that create physiological symptoms such as sweating, tension, increased pulse, you could have a form of Anxiety. There are over 100 symptoms and we’re here to help you get treatment to resolve difficulties associatd with anxiety.

Depression: We all have times in our lives where we might become lonely, sad or even feel hopeless, but this doesn't mean that you’re clinically depressed. We specialize in diagnosing clinical depression and effectively treating clients for depression.

Geriatric Psychiatry: We offer psychological services for patients throughout San Diego who are in long term care or nursing homes and unable to come to our facility. Call us to see a list of facilities we visit or to request services.

Bipolar Disorder (BPD): This is often referred to as manic depression and it can create mood swings that can affect you and the lives of others around you. 10%, or one in ten, people with BPD commit suicide. 33% of youth who commit suicide have features, or traits, of BPD. This number is 400 times higher than the general population, and young women with BPD have a suicide rate 800 times higher than the general population. Early intervention and treatment is critical to obtaining a successful outcome. Let us help you learn about bipolar disorder and manic depression and provide you with treatments for a better life. Several treatment modalities have been shown to be helpful in treating people with BPD. When proper treatment is received and implemented, patients with BPD may have a good prognosis. Treatment may include, but may not be limited to, psychoeducation, medication, support groups, and psychotherapy.

PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Trauma is any event that causes you to feel helpless and terrified. Trauma can be physical and/or emotional. Trauma can come from many sources: war experiences, car accidents, death of loved ones, witnessing or experiencing injuries, domestic violence, abuse, rape, or assault. We manage PTSD with and without brain injury. We treat military members and their family members if needed.

Schizophrenia: There aren’t any typical cases of this disorder and it affects over 2 million people a year. We can inform you and teach you different causes, diagnoses, and treatments for schizophrenia.

Substance Abuse and Dependence: We are Suboxone providers and we treat a variety of illicit and licit drug dependence. Our detoxification program can include outpatient or inpatient. Our philosophy is to aid in a comfortable detox with pharmacological relief. 

Weight Loss Clinic: With close to 100 million results for a “weight loss” search it can be difficult finding the right answers for your questions. We specialize in weight loss on many different levels and if you want a realistic approach then we can help you.
