VIVITROL is used for clients who are struggling with alcohol dependence. VIVITROL is medicine for the treatment of alcohol dependence in adults. It is believed that VIVITROL works by providing continuous levels of its active ingredient naltrexone.

Naltrexone blocks activity in the brain's reward system (the "limbic system") which is thought to play a central role in alcohol dependence. When combined with counseling, VIVITROL may help reduce the number of days you drink each month and the number of drinks you consume.

SUBOXONE

SUBOXONE is an opioid medication used for the treatment of opioid dependence in an office-based setting.

SUBOXONE can be dispensed for take-home use, much like many other medicines for medical conditions.

SUBOXONE helps reduce drug use by decreasing the cravings for drugs. It also helps by suppressing the symptoms of withdrawal and thus help keeping the clients in treatment.
